Episode 581: Ghosthouse (1988)

Do you love the Evil Dead series? Of course you do - but are you a big enough fan to know and love Evil Dead 3? No, we’re not talking about Army of Darkness, we’re talking about the Italian Evil Dead 3, Umberto Lenzi’s GHOSTHOUSE (1988)! The connections to Sam Raimi’s classic are admittedly hanging on by a thread here, more or less just that both take place in haunted houses. This one shares more DNA with Poltergeist when you think about it, and it even has a possessed clown doll if that’s what you’re into. Quick parenting tip, don’t steal dolls from corpses and gift them to your child, it will probably go poorly for everyone.
